Stand aside, liver. Things are about to get uglier than that time laughing hysterically proved devastating to your pants. Echo Park’s Little Joy will do the trick – with Thursday $3 Beers and Cocktails from 6pm-2am, there’s really no reason to say “no”. As a true local favorite, Little Joy will post up as a your “dive bar prototype” with cheap drinks, a hot jukebox, and graffiti madness to get drunk and fixate on. But IBS-ers beware: there are no doors in the men’s restrooms!

You’ll be uber impressed by the looks of things… Blue Dahlia Café has been constantly praised for their romantic picturesque setting, with the cutest twinkling little patio the town has to offer (as pictured). “Hidden” in the Artist District of downtown, you’ll be flabbergasted by their undeniably fresh Paninis, choice wine selection, and legitimate coffee and deserts. Superior ambience, coupled with free wifi? We’ve found a winner!

It’s time to give all you soy lovers a chance – at an exclusively soyilicious soy restaurant. With cozy small portioned soy dishes that hit home, you’ll need nothing else than to wash it down with some freshly made soymilk (what else?). Specials include the Chicken and Lemongrass sandwich, SoyNugs (nuggets), Vegetarian Spring Rolls, and even Soy Iced Coffee. And if it happens to be your lucky day, you might even stumble upon the Dill & Turmeric Fish Noodles (as pictured), only served hot on Sundays.

Acclaimed as thee most romantic place in LA, you may want to keep The Little Door in mind when it’s time to undo those periodic relationship boo-boo’s. With intimate candle lit tables that set you up like you’re in the chateaux of France, the only other thing you may need to work on is the twinkle in your eye. Appetizers are a doozie here, so don’t be shy to hold off on a main course. Try your luck with the tuna tartar and baked brie with glazed almonds.

And just when you sobered up enough to remember you’re still in LA, you’ll be awed by grown ass men with kilts and bagpipes - for your every enjoyment!

Love your local Irish and support the best St.Patty’s Day corned beef and cabbage LA has to offer! Legend has it, Magee’s was THE absolute first restaurant at the Farmer’s Market that is now encompassed by the Grove. Way back when farmers used to rally up their trucks in the area, Blanche Magee beginning serving food… and the rest has been history! Experience old time corned beef, impeccable roast, steamed cabbage, homemade cole slaw and hearty potatoes at it’s best. And nonetheless, straight from the source!

Who ever said good things come in small packages just about hit it on the nose. These days, the only thing cooler than this delectable tapas concept is the restaurant name – Cobras and Matadors! Just scope the Grilled Pork Chops with Charred Apples & Apple Sherry Gastrique (pictured). Or how about the bacon wrapped prawns, paella, or sizzling skirt stake? With so many varieties and tastes to titillate any appetite, it’s an injustice not to try everything at least once!
Oh, and last off.. you guessed it, this place is BYOB!

Hey, hey, hey stud muffin. If you need more than sugar in your morning Wheaties, hit the Griddle Café for just about every morning booster imaginable to mankind. Upon scoping the menu, you’ll soon find out that the Griddle Café takes their morning pancakes and waffles seriously… like Charlie Sheen 1991 “Hot Shots!” serious. Banging out a monstrosity of pancakes, each the size of a human head, The Griddle is known to be the golden standard of what all pancakes should aspire to be… just ask Rachel Ray (she hosted one of her episodes at the café)! With specialties such as Creme de la Cream , Cheesecake French Toast, and a celebrated French Pressed Coffee – this place is way too legit to quit!
